Congruent Solutions, a pioneer in providing IT and back-office administration to the Pension Industry, organized "Mess With the Best @ Congruent" (MWB), a coding competition for its employees on the 4th of July. This competition aimed to bring forth the hidden potentials of the developers at Congruent and also to train the people with exceptional skills for the local and global competitions.
The contestants were asked to develop a word game on any programming language or tools of their choice. Around 30 employees took part in the competition. The submissions were judged by Mr. Dorai Thodla, a Silicon Valley veteran, under whose aegis the "Congruent Research Lab" operates. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Dorai said, I enjoyed the event. There is immense potential amongst Congruent's programmers. This competition brought out their creativity and ability to think laterally to the fore. It was a great start and I was amazed at the level of participation."
As part of the competition, contestants made a presentation on their solution. The entries were judged on pre-determined criteria and the winners were awarded gift vouchers. |
