Balaraman Jayaraman
President and CEO
Bala has over three decades of experience in the high-tech industry. As a Co-Founder and President of Congruent Solutions since 1999, he has steered Congruent through diversification and growth to emerge as one of the pioneers in the retirement technology solutions and outsourced retirement administration services. Congruent also launched CORE Retirement Solutions, a suite of Enterprise Technology Solutions for Pension Providers in the US.
He is a Charter Member and a past member of the Governing Council of TiE, Chennai, and an active Rotarian. He is a member of the Regional Council of NASSCOM and is currently the President of the IIM Calcutta Alumni Association Chennai Chapter. He is on the Board of Trustees of Relief Foundation, an NGO focused on transforming education to the underprivileged children.
Bala received the Pathfinder 2013 award from The Economic Times, recognizing his contribution to the IT & ITES industry.
He is a visiting faculty at the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is regularly invited to offer guest lectures and workshops at Great Lakes Institute of Management and his alma mater, IIM Calcutta.
Bala has a Master’s from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering.
V Chandrasekaran
Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Chandrasekaran has 28 years’ experience in software development and Business Process Outsourcing. Known for his expertise in setting up large Offshore Development Centers (ODC), he has enabled Congruent to be one of the early companies to be ISO: 9001 certified for software development services. He has been advising the Company on all key initiatives supporting our business strategy, including CORE-DC development.
As part of the core team, he managed two acquisitions in the US and the consequent merger of the business operations. An industrial engineer from the College of Engineering, Chennai, he also co-founded SecovaeServices, India’s first HR-BPO company to be ISO: 27001 certified, and played the role of a full-time Chief Technology Officer there.
Neeraj Bhatia
Director
Neeraj Bhatia has over 25 years of experience in senior management positions, focusing on investing and operating environments.
He is currently associated with the Sanaka Group, a Private Equity Fund. Neeraj previously held leadership positions at Hathway Cable, You Broadband, and National Bulk Handling Corporation during their high-growth periods. As CEO/COO of companies, he has demonstrated thought leadership, led business transformation, implemented technology solutions, and raised funds.
Neeraj holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and a B Tech from IIT Kharagpur.
G Sivakumar
Director
G Sivakumar has around 30 years of experience in finance, compliance, business planning, and budgetary control. He has played an instrumental role in collaborating with businesses to support their scale-up and expansion across different continents.
He is currently associated with the Sanaka Group, a Private Equity Fund. Previously, Sivakumar served as the Group CFO of Financial Software and Systems, a major payment systems company.
He was also the lead member of the team that raised capital from private equity investors across rounds of investment. Sivakumar has also facilitated the exit of a PE investor through a secondary sale process.
He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant. He also holds a B Com degree from the University of Madras.
Hari Narayan
Director
Hari Narayan has 15 years of experience in investment management. He also has extensive operating experience and has held leadership positions in companies where he focused on driving growth and improving profitability.
He is currently associated with the Sanaka Group, a Private Equity Fund. Hari was previously associated with Americorp Capital before transitioning to the Oman India Joint Investment Fund team.
He later joined Peepul Capital, where he worked closely with some of the top consumer brands in the country.
Hari holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Indore and a B Tech from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.

Lucas Soucy
Chief Operating Officer – North America
Lucas Soucy has over 22 years of Operations and Plan Administration experience in the retirement services industry. During his career, Lucas’s responsibilities have included establishing and managing operations centers, consulting on process efficiencies, understanding client needs, plan implementations, transition strategies, and relationship management.
Lucas joined Congruent Solutions in 2005 to help set up a back-office delivery center for retirement services that focused on providing service providers support for transaction-based processing and compliance testing, 5500 preparation, and everything in between.
Today, Lucas runs North America for Congruent which includes oversight for all back-office operations onshore and offshore, sales, product support and relationship management. He has also provided guidance and support to the development of Congruent’s own recordkeeping platform, COREDC, which was launched recently. He also is a board member of The SPARK Institute.
Before joining Congruent, he spent his career at several service provider organizations like GoldK, Inc., Boston Financial Data Services, and Trustar Retirement Services, managing operations teams, providing customer support, managing implementations and conversions, and establishing reporting mechanisms.
Mike Kiernan
Head of Sales
Mike Kiernan joined Congruent in 2020 as our Head of Sales. He brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, leading sales and account management efforts for qualified plan recordkeeping, administration, DCIO, software and technology solutions, and more.
His deep understanding of the industry, and propensity for thinking outside of the box, helps our clients reduce cost, create efficiencies, increase productivity, and ultimately provide better service for their end client. This in turn continues the trend of rapid growth for our organization, positions us as an industry disruptor, and has earned us the title of “Partner of Choice” to many.
Sathiyan
Head of Delivery – Business Support Services
Sathiyan has over 12 years of experience in the Retirement and Financial Services verticals. During his career, Sathiyan’s responsibilities have included setting up new operations, transitions management, project management, client engagement, six sigma (quality assurance, metrics), leading large teams, delivery, and managing the profitability of a business unit.
Sathiyan has been with Congruent Solutions since 2004, leading back-office operations in the areas of Retirement, Financial and Insurance Services. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional.
Sagar
Head - Product Management
Sagar started his career with CSC as part of their Insurance vertical, where he was part of their legacy system modernization team. He joined Congruent in the year 2011 as one of the first members of the Requirements team.
He is ASPPA certified for the QKA credential, has a thorough understanding of the Retirement domain and has been a part of multiple successful product implementations.
His responsibilities include Product Roadmap and Direction, Pre-sales, Product Demonstrations, Relationship Management and Product Implementations.
He is currently the Product Owner for the CORE suite of products. He holds a Management degree from Great Lakes Institute of Management. He is an avid wildlife enthusiast, trekker and biker.
Muthumala S
Head of Human Resources
Muthumala S (Mala) is Head of Human Resources for Congruent. She leads all aspects of people management and company culture, including attracting world-class, diverse talent and developing a future-ready workforce.
Mala has over 20 years of HR leadership experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, IT, and ITES industries. She has led the transformation of HR into a strategic partner, facilitated organization-wide transformation and capability development, and was instrumental in building a strong talent pool through a series of leadership development initiatives.
She topped the University in her Master’s in Social Work, which she pursued after completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation and an Executive Coach for Mid and Senior level management. She has provided more than 3000 hours of coaching as part of Internal coaching, External coaching, and Social Change. Her area of expertise includes developmental coaching for building high-performance leaders and teams. She plays an instrumental role in enabling managers as coaches.
Nithil G
Head - Admin & IT Infrastructure
Nithil has over two decades of experience in the field of administration services. At present, he manages the IT Infrastructure as well as the General Administration functions at Congruent. He oversees all aspects of the IT infrastructure operations and network communication.
Nithil has been with Congruent Solutions since 2002, owns the blueprint of Congruent ’s Infrastructure and Operations services. Prior to joining Congruent , he spent his career at CMS Computers Ltd, Polaris Software Lab. He holds the dual master’s degree, Computer Applications & Business Administration.
Sriganesh Raman
Associate Vice President – Marketing
As head of Marketing at Congruent Solutions, Sriganesh is responsible for all marketing communications initiatives and developing multiple channel strategies.
He has over 20 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications, public relations, business development and digital marketing. He is an award-winning professional with two of his campaigns winning the best campaigns of the year award. One of them being the world’s first Wi-Fi enabled lake in the world.
Sriganesh began his professional life as a trainee chef before deciding to pursue his masters in business administration from ITM, Chennai. He loves playing tennis and represents his club in interclub tournaments.
